About DropSheet

DropSheet is built and run by one person: me, Mike Printz, a developer in Atlanta.

Why it exists

Most receipt apps read your receipts by sending the photos to their own servers. I wanted a tool where the photos stayed on my computer, so DropSheet does the reading inside the browser instead. Drop in a pile of receipt photos or PDFs and you get back an Excel or CSV file, with nothing sent anywhere.

It launched in August 2026. You can try it on the homepage, and a license is a one-time purchase rather than a subscription.

The research

I also read the privacy policies of the main receipt apps to see what each one does with your images. That became where receipt apps send your data, a comparison of nine apps, with every claim taken from the company's own pages and dated.

Who answers

I do. Email [email protected] with license questions, a receipt that would not read, or anything else. I also do receipt and bookkeeping data entry work for clients.
